About Ashley

Ashley lives deep in the woods with her husband and three young children in Castle Rock, Washington, where they are currently building a home near her parents. She paints in a cottage by a tree house, and they use the family saw mill to make wood for custom frames and panels from trees that fall down on their land. She loves being in the studio, the woodshop and out in the woods with her family. She has a million ideas a day, and feels right at home in stick forts and tube slides. Years of chronic pain in her early twenties and struggles to grow her family have made her feel like an old soul, and the spectrum of joy and pain has stretched her in ways that have made art expression an invaluable and essential tool.
